I take my two cattle dogs, Sola and Steve, pretty much everywhere I go in their GUNNER Kennels.

The other day we were headed down a really curvy backroad and a car came around the corner. They came into my lane and I had to get off to the side. Right where I went off the side of the road there was a washout through big hills, and I ran right into an electrical pole head-first.

Looking back, the truck flipped ass-end over the front into a 30-40 foot ravine and somehow landed on the tires after flipping over. We drive a GMC Dually so you can imagine what it took to flip over like that.

I did not have the kennels strapped down with GUNNER tie-downs. Both kennels flew out of the truck, a tire ripped off, and my tailgate ripped off as well. It took me a while to get out of the truck since it was pretty torn up, but the first thing I did was check on the dogs.

One GUNNER kennel was thrown in front of the wreck while the other was behind. Both doors stayed shut, and the kennels barely had a scratch on them.

When I opened the doors, they started running around to play; you couldn’t even tell they were in a wreck. I at least expected them to be shaken up a bit, but they were as playful as ever.

Without the kennels, I think they would have died without a doubt.

I ordered your Medium kennels about 3 months before the wreck and still use them to this day. I researched every other kennel on the market and GUNNER was obviously the safest option. At the time of the wreck I only had a couple of normal ratchets to strap them down, which would explain them being thrown out of the truck. 

I am a lifetime customer. There isn’t much I will spend this type of money on but I am a huge believer and user. Customer service has been amazing on top of everything else. Thank y’all for protecting my pups– they are working dogs with cattle a few times throughout the year, but they’re family dogs over everything else. They mean the world to us.
